JOB DESCRIPTION:
I am responsible for broadcasting ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ football, basketball and baseball games on the radio. I am also in charge of arranging programming for ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State volleyball, wrestling, gymnastics and softball. In 2017-18, I'll be responsible for serving as play-by-play for ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State TV broadcasts on ESPN3.

EMPLOYMENT PRIOR TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
WNRR 92.1 FM in Bellevue, Ohio. I did my first high school sports broadcast at the age of 16 on Dec. 23, 1997. I was eventually given my own weekly sports talk show. I also worked as a police officer at Cedar Point. I'm also a licensed storm spotter for the National Weather Service.
LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
I came here as an undergraduate student and haven't been able to leave! I love the campus layout, the close proximity to family, friends, big cities and small towns. I love the other employees who work here; it seems like everyone has always been supportive of one another as we all work toward common goals.
ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY AS AN EMPLOYER:
There's always been a sense of family around this place. We work long, odd hours that often include weekends and holidays. Since it's something we're all going through, we can all relate and get support for each other with after-hours gatherings for dinner, etc.

HOBBIES:
I love sports, traveling, nature and boating. I'm a season ticket holder for the Indians. I love kayaking and hiking – my goal is to one day hike the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. My favorite vacation destination is Las Vegas. I love skiing in the winter, and my favorite resort is Breckenridge in Colorado. I am very interested in the formation of severe weather, and I am a licensed tornado chaser/spotter.
