Employee Appreciation Day Coming Soon

�þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ�’s annual Employee Appreciation Day will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Student Center Ballroom. A special evening event will be held for second- and third-shift workers from 10-11:30 p.m.

Registration opens Aug. 3. Register by Sept. 2 and you will be eligible to win prizes. Share in the fun and enjoy complimentary food, good music, Zumba demos, competitions and much more.

And do not forget your blue and gold. The “Spirit Patrol” will hand out prizes for employees showing their �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State pride. For all you do, this event is for you.

Adjustment to December 2025/January 2026 Closure Schedule

Dear �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Faculty and Staff,

�þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State has made a minor revision to its winter closure schedule for the current year. The university will close as previously scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 10:30 p.m., with offices now set to re-open on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Important Information and Next Steps

Thank you for being engaged this Open Enrollment season. Maybe you took a few minutes to just review your benefit plans or maybe there were important changes to make and you took the time and opportunity to do so. With that being said, we had over a 77% participation rate in Open Enrollment.

Over the next few weeks, the Benefits team will be finalizing the Open Enrollment process and completing tasks to ensure all updates are in place for a Jan. 1, 2026 effective date.
