Lunchtime Bike Ride

Take a leisurely lunchtime bike ride across the �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Campus this Thursday, July 7, from noon to 1 p.m.

Bring your bike from home or check out a bike through the Flashfleet bike share program at one of eight locations around campus.

Chris John from �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State’s Department of Recreational Services will lead participants on a 30-minute ride on the �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Campus, as well as the surrounding community.

Participants will meet at noon at the Flashfleet kiosk at the �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Student Center, and the ride will begin promptly at 12:10 p.m. Registration will be limited for the safety of the group. Helmets from home are strongly recommended.

Adjustment to December 2025/January 2026 Closure Schedule

Dear �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Faculty and Staff,

�þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State has made a minor revision to its winter closure schedule for the current year. The university will close as previously scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 10:30 p.m., with offices now set to re-open on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Important Information and Next Steps

Thank you for being engaged this Open Enrollment season. Maybe you took a few minutes to just review your benefit plans or maybe there were important changes to make and you took the time and opportunity to do so. With that being said, we had over a 77% participation rate in Open Enrollment.

Over the next few weeks, the Benefits team will be finalizing the Open Enrollment process and completing tasks to ensure all updates are in place for a Jan. 1, 2026 effective date.
