What are the dates for 2017 Open Enrollment?

The annual Open Enrollment period for choosing your 2017 health benefits is Oct. 9-28, 2016.

Information about your benefit choices for 2017 is available online; you WILL NOT receive a printed booklet in the mail. Beginning Oct. 9, view the booklet online and make your elections at www.kent.edu/hr/benefits/2017-open-enrollment.

Come to the wellness fair and meet with representatives from the university’s various benefits providers for 2017. Find out more about the wellness resources available, including free health screenings and flu vaccines.

Adjustment to December 2025/January 2026 Closure Schedule

Dear �þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Faculty and Staff,

�þ��ҹ��ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State has made a minor revision to its winter closure schedule for the current year. The university will close as previously scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 10:30 p.m., with offices now set to re-open on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Important Information and Next Steps

Thank you for being engaged this Open Enrollment season. Maybe you took a few minutes to just review your benefit plans or maybe there were important changes to make and you took the time and opportunity to do so. With that being said, we had over a 77% participation rate in Open Enrollment.

Over the next few weeks, the Benefits team will be finalizing the Open Enrollment process and completing tasks to ensure all updates are in place for a Jan. 1, 2026 effective date.
