¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ administrators are good stewards with university money based in part on a strong financial profile and solid managers, according to two new credit ratings.

Anti-Bias Workshop Participants Selected

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Board of Trustees Approves Two New Majors to Meet High Demand for Growing Fields

The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees approved two new degree programs at its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15. The new majors – the Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology major within the Bachelor of Science degree and the Emerging Media and Technology major within the Master of Science degree – will help meet the high demand for these types of programs and provide opportunities for students to find careers in these growing fields.

New Senior Budget Analyst Selected, Mary Mustard

Mary MustardThe University Budget Office welcomes Mary Mustard to the department in the role of senior budget analyst effective May 1, 2021. Mary will be responsible for developing budget processes and forecast projections, processing budget revisions, submitting budget data to the Ohio Department of Higher Education, providing budget trainings and authoring financial reports for the university.

Leigh Archibald appointed as Director for Academic Budget Management


The University Budget Office welcomes Leigh Archibald to the department in the role of Director for Academic Budget Management, effective October 18, 2021. Leigh is responsible for providing oversight for fiscal and business operations for the Division of Academic Affairs and supporting the Office of the Provost.  

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Awarded $3.5 Million Choose Ohio First Grants

The state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ has been awarded Choose Ohio First grants totaling $3.5 million to support students in the critical fields of science (including health professions), technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees congratulated ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State President Todd Diacon and university leaders on their strong fall enrollment, including welcoming the Class of 2025, at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 15.

New Associate Director for Academic Budget Management, Carmen Roberts

Carmen RobertsThe University Budget Office is happy to announce Carmen Roberts will become the Associate Director for Academic Budget Management. He will provide oversight for business functions, human resources processes and financial operations for the regional campuses. He previously held the role of senior budget analyst.

Connie Simms, Joins University Budget Office

Connie SimmsThe University Budget Office welcomes Connie Simms to the department in the role of Budget Analyst II effective August 16, 2021. Connie is responsible for analyzing financial and statistical data, preparing financial projections, summarizing budget inquiries, reviewing position control records, and compiling budget data for university reports.
