Students can withdraw from any or all courses through the 10th week of the semester.
Before you decide to drop a course or withdraw from the university, we strongly encourage you to:
Talk with your academic advisor to understand how the timing of your decision will affect your grades, degree progress and transcript.
Meet with the Financial, Billing, and Enrollment (FBE) Center to learn how your decision could impact your financial aid, refunds and housing.
Connect with faculty during office hours if you're facing challenges or rethinking your goals 鈥 they can offer support, tutoring and other helpful options. Check your course syllabus for office hours and locations.
Please note, withdrawing can impact your: medical insurance, auto insurance, current and future financial aid, loan repayments, scholarship eligibility, athletic eligibility, international and immigration status, on-campus housing and academic progress.

Course withdrawal is permitted through the 10th week of the fall or spring semester (with a prorated deadline for summer or flexibly scheduled courses). Please check your semester鈥檚 deadlines before withdrawing.
