The International Cook-Off, an event hosted by ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s Office of Global Education and International Student and Scholar Services, is beloved by many international and domestic students.
A lecture series in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design changed the trajectory of ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State senior Georgia Coulter's college experience, allowing her to study abroad with Frank Barkow, an educator, researcher and architect.
Each month, the Office of Global Education presents a Cultural Café where members of the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State community can learn about the history, traditions and cuisine of other countries from ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State's international students.
Students, faculty, staff and alumni celebrated I AM FIRST Week, a recognition of ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ students’ first-generation identity, by building community and showcasing campus-wide support.
This year’s speaker for ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´â€™s Bowman Breakfast was the embodiment of the symbiotic relationship between the university and the city of ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ that is celebrated at the annual event.
