The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ alumni family grew by more than 1,000 new graduates from its eight-campus system across Ohio as the university held its summer commencement ceremony. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2025 were recognized with a commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Aug. 9.

Orange barrels will soon appear on a three-quarter-mile stretch of Ohio Route 59/East Main Street that runs through ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´â€™s Front Campus, marking the start of a three-year construction project to make the thoroughfare safer and more attractive.

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Closed July 4 for Independence Day
¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on July 7.
‘All Three Were Very Honorable, Good Men’
A Mantua woman who worked at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State in the Office of the President from 1951 to 1971 recently celebrated her 110th birthday. She recalls her time at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State and shares a few reflections from her long life.

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing Aeronautics and Engineering Schools
The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus.
